Designed by PHILIPPE STARCK CON EUGENI QUITLLET for Kartell.

Mr. Impossible stems from the - apparently impossible - idea of joining two oval bodies without using glue, to obtain an indissoluble weld. The two laser welded shells give the seat a two-tone, three-dimensional look. Mr. Impossible is ideal for both domestic and contract use, and is also perfect outdoors.

The Mr. Impossible Chair was designed by world-renowned designers Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet in collaboration with furniture brand Kartell.

Starck is famous for his interior, industrial, product and architectural designs. He designs furniture and objects that are based on innovative, inventive structures and is one of the pioneers of modern furniture design. Spanish designer Quitllet was named Maison&Object's 2016 Designer of the Year. Quitllet humbly describes himself as a 'Disoñador,' a Spanish contraction of the words 'designer' and 'dreamer'. His pieces originate in gravity-resistant designs and breathtaking aesthetics.

This unique piece features transparent legs to give a fascinating floating effect that is offset by the bright seat itself. The Mr. Impossible Chair's dimensions are 54cm wide, 55cm high and the seat height is 84cm with a backrest height of 84cm for a comfortable, spacious sitting experience.

Two oval shells give the sturdy plastic construction a striking effect of being both two dimensional and three dimensional all at once for a contemporary feel that complements a wide variety of interior spaces, including living rooms and hallways. With its ability to spark conversation, this is an excellent choice of chair for public areas such as waiting rooms and galleries.
