A light, essential and rigorous chair. Its square line is designed by Piero Lissoni, with a wide seat and a wide, low backrest. Created for use around tables, it was born in a range of both gloss and matt colours. The particularity of the material used makes it resistant to collisions, scratches and atmospheric agents.
Lissoni, a graduate of Milan Polytechnic in architecture, began working as an Art Director and Designer in 1984 and later founded the architectural firm Lissoni Associates. He continues to collaborate with some of the world's most popular design companies and is renowned for his minimalistic aesthetic. Tamborini is an Italian designer who co-founded the Milan-based design group Codice 31 in 1998. He is an in-demand lights and interior furnishings designer and is known for his bright aesthetic and pop culture influences.
Originally designed in 1997 by Lissoni and Tamborini for Kartell, the chic and minimalist Lizz Chair is still going strong years later. The chair design is rooted in simplicity and emphasises the beauty of the coloured thermoplastic polymer material it is constructed in, giving the chair a sumptuously glossy finish.
With dimensions of 53cm long, 49cm wide, 74cm high, a seat height of 44cm and a backrest height of 74cm, the Lizz Chair is a spaciously sized chair that supports the body ergonomically for a comfortable sitting experience while enhancing the ambience of any interior room.
